Speak

Speak is a documentary about how Somali refugee children experience the education system in Arizona. It explores a school, laws, and the lives the two Somali children.

I (Bailey Netsch) was the Producer and Editor of Speak. I dealt with all relationships regarding the film, planning, set-up, interviews, and editing. I also was in control of all release and licensing agreements. I was a assistant videographer, too, due to our small team. Kiegan Stewart was the lead videographer and was present at every shoot, and we decided to give him the director role. He was also a co-editor. Kyley Jamieson was an assistant videographer and found music on FirstCom.
